Why choose us?

CCS is a small, personal company and you are always dealing with the owner. We tend to be less expensive than larger companies as we do not have the same high overhead.

Being aware that hoarders and seniors hide items, jewelry and money, we try to be as careful as we can to locate these items. 

Junk Companies can get rid of the garbage but do not go through any items trying to find valuables or family heirlooms.

 

How much will it cost? 

Every job and situation is unique and it would be unfair to give estimates before the size and complexity of the contract has been determined, and client special requests have been noted. 

Larger jobs such as gross filth and hoarding estates are usually done on a price range for the job.

Smaller 1-2 day jobs such as small gross filth jobs and emergency cleans can be done on an hourly basis.

If funds are limited we can work within your budget and deal with the areas that have the most priority.

How soon will you see the job-site? 

We try to meet with you within a day or two of your contact with us for estates and gross filth jobs. We try to get to emergency cleans as soon as we can get our schedule arranged to fit it in.

 

Do you do appraisals? 

CCS staff are not licensed appraisers.  If a customer feels that an item has more than personal value, then an appraiser can be located who is a specialist for that item.

 

What is done with personal papers? 

Government taxes and business paperwork should be kept for 7 years.  Current bills can be kept for any length of time – usually one year.  Personal documents and legal paperwork is always kept as a safeguard. ALL other personal paperwork can be destroyed.

But the place is such a mess! 

There is no need to be embarrassed.  The staff at CCS understand that at times, people have difficulty in keeping on top of things, whether it is from age, physical or emotional issues. 

 

Do I have to contract for a whole property? 

Not at all.  Sometimes the problem areas are limited to spaces such as a  garage or basement and those alone can be dealt with.
